Big John WEATHER Summary & Discussion
(Issued 3:00 pm Weds, May 23rd, 2012)
To the west, yesterday's front that triggered our round of showers and storms is still stuck over our inland counties. And an upper-level low tracking along that stalled front is moving north through South Carolina. So our risk of late day storms is less, but still present.
And as that front dissipates, we will keep our slight chance of late-day showers and storms right into the holiday weekend. The "wild card" will always be our daily sea breeze front. By Friday, we will be drier and ready for lots of holiday fun.
We will be watching a tropical low developing right off Miami. Models can not agree on the forecast with this rainmaker, other than some very heavy rainfall for South Florida. We'll be watching.
