SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Many gently used uniforms found a new purpose at Groves High School Tuesday.
The Sergeant Audie Murphy Club of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield donated more than 100 Class A Army uniforms to the Groves JROTC. The program has grown so quickly over the last year that it needed new threads. So, the organization collected uniforms that are being phased out and dropped them off today.
As a result, the Groves JROTC, 275 cadets strong, will all be able to dress alike at military functions.
