SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Children attending the Lady
Bamford Center will soon have more space.
On Tuesday, the early childhood
development center will open a new classroom at its location on Richards
Street. The center was named after the wife of the owner of JCB Construction Equipment
and provides education and social skills to children up to five years old.
JCB is teaming up with the City
of Savannah and the United Way to unveil the classroom, which will allow the
center to go from a capacity of 58 to 78 children.
