BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -
A 14-year-old Bluffton girl is set to appear in Beaufort County family court. She is accused of firing a gun into a home on Parkside Drive.
Police said the bullet was fired on one side of the pond on Parkside Drive, traveled across the pond and into another resident's home. The residents were home at the time, but were not injured. The home does have an estimated $1,000 in structural damage.
Police said the girl and a 15-year-old girl were left unsupervised and got a hold of her father's handgun.
