TATTNALL CO., GA (WTOC) -
Hundreds of
Tattnall County High School students got to talk seriously about careers
Thursday. The school hosted their annual Career Expo. Members of the military
as well as 50 other professions spoke with students. They talked about the
skills, training, rewards, and challenges of their jobs. The group ranged from
business owners to law enforcement.
"The Bridge Bill
has just come out in the state of Georgia. Whenever the students come into the
ninth grade, they need to have a career path chosen so they know what classes
they need to follow through their high school career," said Gail Dixon,
Tattnall County High School.
WTOC's Bureau Chief Dal Cannady was one of the presenters. He talked to the students
about TV journalism and WTOC.
