The Savannah Shamrocks Rugby teams have scheduled their season opener. Join them at Forsyth Park on Feb. 18 at 11:00 a.m.
The Shamrocks will take on the Brunswick Golden Isles for the 2012 Matrix Conference home opener. This is a great opportunity for viewers to come out and experience both Men's and Women's games. The games are open to the public and the Shamrock's are looking for new additions to their roster. Both Men and Women ages 16 to 60 are encouraged to stop by during the event to get more information on how to get involved.
Currently, the Men's team has a 2-1 record. With two big wins under their belt they have attained a number one ranking in the Matrix Conference and have already defeated the Golden Isles once this season. However, they are looking to improve on last weekend's loss to Hilton Head Island.
