Arrest made in restaurant robbery

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

A man who was wanted in connection with a robbery in December 2011 of the China Town restaurant was arrested Monday.

Calvin White Jr., 18, was arrested on a robbery warrant and a warrant on assault and battery charges for a January case.

White was seen going into a local motel room and officers found him hiding in a bathroom, according to Beaufort police.

He was taken into custody without incident.
