Man sought for writing phony checks

BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -

The Bulloch County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a man on check fraud charges.

The man has passed fraudlent checks using a Claxton bank routing number and fictitious account numbers at Wal-marts in Swainsboro, Statesboro and Rincon.

The checks were passed between Jan. 16 and Jan. 18.

Anyone with information on this suspect can email jared@bullochsheriff.com.
