BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -
On Thursday, Bluffton police investigators working with the FBI arrested the second suspect in the Jan. 19 robbery of the Palmetto State Bank.
Two black men accosted the bank's manager when he arrived to work and forced him at gunpoint to let them into the bank, according to Bluffton police. The manager was able to escape and alerted authorities.
The suspects were identified as two black males wearing dark clothing. They ran from the bank toward Goethe Road.
On Feb. 3, David Mack Jr. was arrested after being found in Canton, Ohio.
The investigation led detectives Justin A. Williams who was also arrested and acted as Mack's accomplice in the bank robbery, according to police.
The investigation continues and will now focus on others who may have helped the suspects in alluding capture or helped with the planning of the robbery.
