SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The National Association for the Education of Young Children has decided to continue the accreditation for the Wesley Community Center, which provides services for low income families throughout the area.
"Oh my goodness, this is so wonderful because NAEYC is the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The children that we serve are low income and homeless, so being accredited means a lot," said Tammy Mixon, Wesley Community Centers of Savannah.
The Wesley Community Centers have provided support for more than six decades. With this accreditation, they hope to continue the legacy of helping others.
