EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -
Springfield Elementary students
are learning more about their bodies on a large scale. They are learning how to
stay healthy form a special life size body walk maze as part of a special
wellness grant program. The children can walk through the body and learn its
parts as well as how it functions.
"It is a hands on approach. We
feel the kids feel like they are involved. Because it is hands on, it helps
them remember things," said Kendall Wall, project leader.
HealthMPowers travels all over
the state, from Atlanta, to bring traveling exhibits to the schools.
