SCAD honors students for their work in the advertising industry

The Trustees Theater in Savannah was packed Jan. 27 for the SCADDY Awards. Savannah College of Art and Design honored their best and brightest students for their work in the advertising industry. The students do it all, from print to photography to visual effects and animation, there were more than 2,000 entries.

"Our students work very hard. As faculty and as the college, we find that there is a need for us to actually celebrate their hard work and honor their hard work," said Duff Yong, SCAD professor.

Winners received more than just a nice trophy, they will go on to compete in the national ADDY Awards competition.
