A new place to call home for one of our courageous wounded warriorsArmy Staff Sergeant Jason Letterman and his family received the keys to their new, specially designed home in Hinesville last Saturday.  Staff Sergeant Letterman was very seriously injured when his truck drove over a roadside bomb while serving in Iraq.  The family is over-joyed and grateful to be in a home specially-adapted to the Staff Sergeant's mobility needs.

Sincere thanks, on behalf of our two-state coastal residents, to the terrific "Homes for our Troops" organization, to those area businesses who donated supplies and financial assistance for the building project, and to all of the military and civilian volunteers who worked together to build this house, creating a more livable home for this career soldier.  And most of all, the thanks of a nation for Staff Sergeant Jason Letterman's service and extraordinary sacrifice, along with all those in the wounded warrior program, at Fort Stewart, and elsewhere, and others who didn't return, for your service and incredible personal-sacrifice, to bring liberty to others, while working so very hard to preserve our own. America salutes you, and will never forget the vital impact you've made to help ensure our future freedom.
