Among the good-news kudos this week, here are but two examples. Diannia (Diana) Duncan has made the move from uniformed patrol officer to Ludowici P.D.'s first female police investigator. Between her military service and later experience, out in the community, as a uniformed police officer, she is considered to be both ideally suited for this new roll and very good at it. Our congratulations and thanks to Diannia Duncan, and her fellow police officers, and staff, in Ludowici, for their collective efforts to keep residents safe.
And more good news. Bluffton's Inn at Palmetto Bluff has been named the nation's best coastal hotel by Travel and Leisure Magazine. This facility topped a list of 40 resort entries. Among other qualities, they were praised for their distinctive "southern style." Congratulations to the ownership, management and staff at the Inn at Palmetto Bluff for bringing home to Bluffton this fine national designation and honor.
