Learning important life skills can be fun as well. The 100 Black Men of Savannah, partnering with First Tee of Savannah, have launched their summer enrichment camp, called "Pathways to Success." In addition to focusing on golf skills, fitness, and healthy eating, the young participants will also benefit from leadership and personal finance presentations, all of which is aimed at helping youngsters grow into productive community members and, thus, role models, themselves, for those who follow. They'll also take part in several career field-trips.
Our thanks to Savannah's 100 Black Men organization for their on-going commitment of the time, life-experiences and money it takes to so-effectively mentor deserving young people. As successful adult role models, these gentlemen are devoted to positive character-building, one young person at a time.
