America's independence, just celebrated, is an incredible blessing, granted by Almighty God, and preserved by man, through His grace. There's no more telling current example of the on-going struggle to preserve, than the courageous men and women deployed in the Middle East, and around the globe, on station, in defense of our continued sovereignty and freedom. The commander of the 3rd ID and of Task Force Marne in Iraq, Major General Tony Cucolo, and Division Command Sergeant-Major Jesse Andrews, presented a poignant reminder of that commitment and purpose, featuring soldiers from their command.
Although Independence Day has now passed, every day is the right time to remember our sovereignty, and reflect on our freedoms, both thanks in large part to those in our military, who've persevered through the generations to preserve them.
