Two months ago, it was a day like all days, except that a deep-sea drilling rig blew-up, became engulfed in flames and sank, shattering a one-mile-deep well-head, sending a torrent of oil and gases into the rich-with-sea-life Gulf waters, potentially heading for shore. And by government talk, rather than action, the gushing-oil was allowed to go from serious leak, to economic disaster, as the nation's leadership remained pre-occupied with vacationing, fundraisers, and social events, all the while, unbelievably-rejecting immediate offers of containment help from other, better-equipped nations. Giving rise to the Prophet Emanuel's second serious crisis, delivered on a sunken silver platform, leading to the unthinkable question: could lack of effective Fed action have possibly been calculated? Since, from the resulting disaster, came the dream-opportunity to resurrect, from its appropriate grave, the punitive, recovery-stalling, energy tax, bringing to every consumer, price-increases for all goods and services produced by carbon fuels, including electricity to power our homes and businesses.
Do understand that this newly-dubbed, "clean air" legislation, based on an unsettled premise, is simply the selling-point for this new, national tax, with big pay-days for insiders. The real objective: to provide cover for another private-sector clamp-down, this time, on our utility companies, along with still more control over most of our nation's industries. Another strangulation-move by the Fed's pet capitalism-constrictor, one fond of squeezing the life out of our freedoms, as well. November's election can't get here soon enough. It won't solve all of our corrosive issues, but it'll be a firm start, to stopping, the out-right destruction of America.
